During recent boating seasons, some cruisers have made the entire trips while others have joined in on legs at the beginning or end. This has enriched the program by allowing broader participation.

Recognizing these trends and the opportunities they offer, we are planning a new approach with three distinct segments with each open to any interested member. Our longer range cruises will be coordinated by Ray Vass, with Jim O’Brien filling a similar role for those of shorter range and duration and Al Holmes continuing his successful efforts in planning localized day trips.

We anticipate opportunities for raft-ups or anchoring out as well as marina stopovers and we hope to get a significant amount of cross-participation between trips. In addition, we want to continue our practice of planning dinners or other events during some cruises with all squadron members invited to come by land to attend.

We will develop a master list of members interested in any of these events and disseminate information to all as our plans progress.
